24K Gold Plated
Prevent chemical reaction while brewing
C275 Cone Filter is made with stainless steel with 24k gold plated. Gold is the most stable metal in nature, therefore it can prevent chemical reaction with metal happening while brewing. In result, we can enjoy good flavor of coffee.
Raised Flat Bed
In a usual cone shaped filter/brewer, water flows tends to be gathered at the base of the filter. Also, fine coffee grounds are easily stcuk at the tips of cone filter, in result, find coffee grounds get over brewed and add on bitterness to your coffee.
In order to prevent over extraction, Cores C275 Cone Filter has a raised-flat bed at the tips, so that the water is pushed back and outwards, and does not gather in the central lower area.

Mechanism of Raised Flat Bed
Usual Cone Filter
Water flow tends to gather at the base of the filter, so the coffee at the lower area of the filter tends to be over extracted.
CORES C275 Gold Cone Filter
With raised flat bed at the bottom of filter, water is bounced at the flat bed area, and pushed back to flows outwards. This bed helps water not to gather in the central lower area, and it does not over-brew coffee.
Long Slit Mesh
Achieve high temperature, fast extraction
Its unique longitudinal slot helps water flow out faster so that it can retain high water temperature while brewing to extract good acidity.
All the slits are punched from inside toward outside so water flow is also much smoother. And moreover, each mesh hole is even shape and size and it will not be deformed.
Difference in hole shape when brewing
Round Hole Metal Filter
So happen when coffee particles are same size as round mesh hole, some could be trapped in the round mesh filter and the hole will be clogged. As a result, water does not flow smoothly and it leads to uneven extraction.
